Eight problems with Common Core Standards

In the article, "Eight problems with Common Core Standards" it states some of the conflicts teachers have with what they have to teach in the classroom. All teachers have to go by the "core" classes which are math, science, language arts, and social studies. After these four core classes are taught students have to take a state test on them. The article explains that the state test are completely irrelevant to the way teachers teach in their classrooms. The article also talks about whoever came up with the common core standards was not an experienced educator. I do think that the common core standards could be redone to help benefit the way a teachers teaches in the classroom and also the way a student learns.
